Somali Women for Action held a meeting on 28 January 2026 at the Ministry of Security with the Minister of Security, the Regional Police Commander, the CID Commander, and the Wajid District Commissioner. The meeting explored potential areas of collaboration and concluded in a positive and constructive manner.
Somali Women for Action (SOW4A) had the pleasure of meeting on 21/1/2026  with the South West State Minister of Women and Human Rights Development in an introductory meeting aimed at establishing a working relationship. The Minister warmly welcomed the organization and expressed appreciation for its mandate and ongoing efforts to promote women’s empowerment and rights.
She further emphasized that the Ministry is committed to closely collaborating with Somali Women for Action in order to strengthen coordination, enhance program impact, and jointly advance initiatives that support women and girls across Southwest State.
SHARE — Somali Humanitarian Action for Relief and Empowerment — was established in 2020 in direct response to Somalia’s protracted and deepening humanitarian crisis.
